摘要	In a recent paper [J. Math. Phys. 47, 032901 (2006)] Karmakar and Dwivedi investigated analytical integrability and exact solutions of the d-KdV equation. In this Comment, it is shown that the obtained solution (28) in the above paper is incorrect. Moreover, we further show that the d-KdV equation does not possibly possess this kind of shock wave solutions. (c) 2007 American Institute of Physics.
