摘要	This paper deals with the existence conditions and design methods of input function observers for the linear singular system E x ˙ = Ax+Bu, y = Cx. Necessary and sufficient conditions are given. The results are applied to the left (or right) invertibility of the transfer matrix for singular systems. Finally, we also discuss the existence and design methods of the normal input function observers for singular systems.
