AbstractThe adaptive stabilization of the generalized Hamiltonian control systems with dissipation, which has a linearly parameterized Hamiltonian function with respect to unknown constants, is considered here. The theoretic result is then applied to power system that cannot be treated by backstepping introduced by Kokotovic et al. Simulations show that the designed adaptive control law is very effective.
