Abstract | For the (k, n - k) conjugate boundary value problem (-1)(n-k) u((n)) = lambdaf (t, u), 0 < t < 1, u((i)) (0) = 0, 0 less than or equal to i less than or equal to k - 1. u((j)) (1) = 0, 0 less than or equal to j less than or equal to n - k - 1, where lambda > 0, we shall show the existence of positive solutions for lambda on a suitable interval by means of a fixed point theorem in a cone, The existence results obtained improve some previous results in the recent literature. |
