AbstractThe vanishing viscosity limit is considered for the viscous lake equations with Navier friction boundary conditions. We prove that the inviscid limit satisfies the inviscid lake equations, and the results include flows generated by L-p initial vorticity with 1 < P <= infinity. (C) 2007 Elsevier Inc.
