摘要	In this paper, we focus on how the outcomes of multidimensional auctions are affected by the setting of asymmetric suppliers. We investigate the bidding behavior of suppliers via equilibrium bid response functions, and find that the quality choices of suppliers are not changed by the asymmetry. We prove that the "weak" supplier prefers the first-score auction in contrast that the "strong" supplier is more profitable in the second-score auction. Furthermore our main results indicate that the revenue equivalence of standard multidimensional auctions no longer holds, and the first-score auction yields higher expected utility for a buyer than the second-score auction does. Our model extends the classical multidimensional auctions to accommodate the feature of heterogeneous suppliers. Some new and different findings are also obtained in this paper.
