摘要	We study the well-posedness of Cauchy problem for the fourth order nonlinear Schrodinger equations ia(1)u = -Delta u + Delta(2)u + P((a(x)(alpha)u)(vertical bar alpha vertical bar <= 2), (a(x)(alpha)u)(vertical bar alpha vertical bar <= 2)), t is an element of R, x is an element of R", where epsilon is an element of {-1, 0, 1}, n >= 2 denotes the spatial dimension and P((.)) is a polynomial excluding constant and linear terms.
