摘要	This paper concerns the step-size estimation in line search method for unconstrained optimization problems. Some new approaches for estimating the step size are proposed and the global convergence of related line search methods are analyzed. Finally, we discuss the choice of the initial step size in Armijo line search rule. (c) 2005 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
