Transmissivity estimation for a two-dimensional aquifer by regularizing potential and stream functions

摘要Transmissivity estimation for a 2D aquifer is studied. A simple and efficient numerical method based on the regularization of both potential and stream functions is proposed. In a laboratory experiment configuration without a source-sink term, a regularized stream function is computed, instead of a regularized transmissivity parameter, from a noisy measurement of the potential function. The effectiveness of the proposed method for noisy data and various transmissivities is shown in numerical simulations. The order of convergence about the noise level is also investigated.
