On the possibility of creating new asymptotically stable periodic orbits in continuous time dynamical systems by small feedback control

摘要In this paper an important problem in chaos control theory-whether it is possible to create a new stable periodic orbit for a dynamical system by a small feedback control-is studied. It is proved that an orbit with an initial condition (point) being of some recurrent property can become an asymptotically stable periodic orbit by a small perturbation. This may inspire a possible new method for controlling chaos.
