AbstractIn this letter, we extend a direct method for constructing solitary solutions of nonlinear differential-difference equations. Hybrid lattice equations are chosen to illustrate this method. As a result, several solitary solutions are obtained with the help of Maple. This method can also be used in other nonlinear differential - difference equations.
