AbstractIn this paper, we study the asymptotic behavior of the global smooth solutions to the initial boundary value problem for the hydrodynamic model for semiconductors with spherical symmetry. We prove that the solution to the problem converges to a stationary solution time asymptotically exponentially fast. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
